What is alcohol?

There are many members of alcohol, but ethyl is the most popular known alcohol. The chemical formula for ethyl alcohol, or ethanol C2H50H. Organic radicals, there is nothing poisonous or dangerous to a persons health.

What is an alcoholic beverage?

In 1919 Congress establish by law that any beverage containing 1/2 percent alcohol per volume was intoxicating. Today alcoholic beverages containing 12 percent alcohol, some many consider non alcoholic beverage.

What is wine?

Ripe grapes that have been naturally fermented into juice.

What is beer?

Beer are cereals, malts, flavored with hops, an fermented alcoholic beverages.

What is a spirit?

Certain flavor compounds are distilled containing alcohol. These favorable compounds are called congers,and they give spirits their distinct characteristics. Some spirits are age in wood, witch also gives it a flavor.

What are axioms?

Any wines that are made up of two colors, white and red. A rose wine is also considered a red wine.

Classifications of wines 

Table: White& red, from countries like Moselle, Germany, Bordeaux, Burgundy from France, Rhine; Chianti Veronese from Italy.
Sparkling: Champagne, vin mousseux, Asti Spumante,Sekt. Any alcohol containing 14 percent or less. 
Fortified: Madeira, Marsola,Sherry, Porto, Malaga,etc. Any alcohol containing over 14 percent, but not over 24.
Aromatized: Vermouth form Italy and France. Wines containing 15 1/2 to 20 percent alcohol.

Classifications of malt beverages


Beers: Color of beers are light. Normally called lagers with strength of 4 percent of body weight.
Ales: Theses beers are generally darker. With alcoholic strength of 4 1/2 percent of body weight. 
Pouter & Stout: Thick rich brew. With alcoholic strength of about 6 percent by weight. 
Sake: Brew made from rice mainly produced in Japan & Hawaii. Alcoholic strength of 14 or 16 percent.

Classifications of spirits 


Brandies: Spanish, Greek, Italian, Cognac, Armagnac, American,etc.
Fruit Brandies: Slivovitz (plum), Calvados (Apples), Kirsch (Cherry), and more.
Whiskies: Canadian, Scotch, Irish, American; Bourbon, Corn, Rye, blends. 
Rums: Puerto Rican, Martinique, Haitian, Jumaican, Cuban.
Gins: Hollands, American, English.
Vodkas: Polish, Russian, American.
